Cancel your usual Wednesday night plans – you’re officially busy every Wednesday for the next couple of months! The wait is over – the highly anticipated ‘Hockey Wives’ reality show premieres tonight on the W Network.
What is ‘Hockey Wives’?! Well it’s an eight-part docu-series featuring the exciting and dramatic lives of the NHL’s wives and girlfriends. It follows the lives of 10 different women – one being Kodette LaBarbera, wife of Anaheim Ducks goalie, Jason LaBarbera, who is Shawn Cable’s (Re-Matt’s Director) close friend. The Re-Matt team can’t wait to see Kodette tonight and her big debut!

Kodette is a major Autism activist and hopes ‘Hockey Wives’ can help raise awareness for Autism. She also hopes Hockey Wives puts a spotlight on some of the charities she works with here in Calgary. Kodette really is an amazing person and will look so beautiful on the big screen!
As mentioned in a previous blog post, Shawn Cable has an upcoming cameo on ‘Hockey Wives’ when Kodette, Jason and their two kids take a tour of our mattress recycling facility. Just another reason to tune into this new Canadian reality show!
